Triste - Audial Suicide cassette
Hypnotic and manipulating depressive
Black Metal riffs engulf you immediately and eat their way through your
central nervous system. This black maelstrom is interrupted abruptly now and
then to give way for experimental and sometimes even punkish clean guitars
that sound simultaneously cold and desolate but also manic and schizophrenic.
Some song structures on this recording might sound chaotic at first,
but this is about authentic depression and not about writing beautiful
pop-songs. You could compare Triste in a way to the Hypothermia or
even early Forgotten Tomb for its somber and manipulating atmosphere. But
there is certainly something unique to the melodies created by Hetre that is
hard to put in words.

Trollech vs. Heiden - split
digipak
Although the bands are different regarding speed and
intensity, the sound and quality of the recordings is pretty similar, so
that it really feels like a real split and not just a combination of two
recordings. Both bands have a style that is Czech, but also clearly with
their roots in the great Nordic metal scene. If you are into the atmosphere
of Bathory, this split is highly recommendable. |
